John E. Magoffin
John was admitted 1989 in the Supreme of Queensland after completing his Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland Institute of Technology. He has been practicing in criminal law for the better part of 30 years.
In his legal career, John has been a partner in reputable firms such as Bowen Lagois, Lagois Magoffin Rose and at The Law Office. John has instructed in countless Supreme Court matters. He is experienced in complex matters concerning sexual offences, violent offences and domestic violence.
Further, John regularly appears in the Magistrates Court for traffic matters including work licence applications.
John has considerable experience in compensation law. John regularly briefs senior counsel in Brisbane, allowing his area of reach to extend beyond the Cairns region.
He has a considerate and approachable personality, and places great emphasis on achieving the best possible outcome for the client.

Oliviero Bolli
Ollie completed his Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University in Cairns in 2018. Upon completing his legal training under the supervision of John Magoffin, he was admitted to the Supreme Court in 2019.
He has a keen interest in criminal law and regularly provides advice in that area. Whilst his legal career might still be in its early stages, his enthusiasm for practicing law is well advanced. He is a reliable and approachable practitioner with whom clients feel at ease and in good hands.
Coming from a diverse cultural background enables Ollie to connect with people easily, instilling comfort in what are generally stressful situations.
